The Nursery

Because I was a slacker and didn't start this blog until AFTER the girls were born, I never got a chance to post pictures of their nursery, which is definitely one of my favorite rooms in the house. Well, by popular demand, here they are!! (Actually, no one is really demanding pictures, I just think it's cute and post-worthy.) My mom made the wall letters and curtains, which I LOVE.

Of course, these are the BEFORE pictures. The nursery looks quite a bit different now with babies and baby paraphernalia everywhere. :)

Three Months old...

Three month shot:

I put them in the same outfits as their two month picture. (Although Riley's is still a little big on her, it fits a little better than it did a month ago...

3 month mark...

...Riley celebrated the occasion by rolling over. I thought it was a fluke at first, but she proceeded to do it no less than six times in a row. Impressive little baby!

New Developments

Yesterday was a big day in our household, as Riley started giggling (more chuckling, really) for the first time, and Harper suddenly became aware that she has hands.
Regarding Harper and the hand discovery, this video doesn't really capture her staring at them intently (which she has been doing off and on now for the past 24 hours), but it did catch a few sweet smiles.
